Privacy policy

WATCHUZ (“we”, “us”) sells and services fine timepieces from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why we hold it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to purchases made through it.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address and telephone number, together with the details of what you bought. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment provider and are never stored on our servers. If you join the Journal we hold your email address and nothing else. Like most websites we also record basic technical information — browser type, approximate location, pages viewed — to keep the site secure and working properly.

Why we hold it

We use your details to fulfil and deliver your order, to provide warranty and servicing over the life of the watch, to answer your questions, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We send marketing email only to people who have asked for it, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary with our delivery partners, our payment processor and our accountants. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers. Where a supplier processes data on our behalf, they are contractually bound to use it only for that purpose.

How long we keep it

Order and warranty records are kept for the life of the warranty plus the period required by Uzbek accounting law. Journal subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Technical logs are kept for twelve months.

Your choices

You may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to care@watchuz.uz and we will respond within thirty days.

Cookies

This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function — remembering the contents of your bag, keeping you signed in, and protecting against fraud. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
